Dr. Matthew Murphey received his Bachelor of Arts in Biology from Southern Illinois University and his doctorate from Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine & Science. He completed his podiatric surgical residency at Rush University Medical Center in Chicago, Illinois where he served as Chief Resident. Following residency Dr. Murphey worked at the Missouri Bone and Joint Center in St Louis, MO before relocating with his wife Holly to Tennessee.

He is Board Qualified by the American Board of Podiatric Surgery and is a Associate member of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons, the American Podiatic Medical Association and the Tennessee Podiatric Medical Association.
